Teachers’ Seminar: This two-day seminar will be held on July 28–29, 2025. This year’s theme is “AI in Education—Transforming Teaching & Learning.” The seminar will focus on Artificial Intelligence and various tools that will assist educators in K–12 teaching and learning. This year’s speakers are two convention favorites: Andrea Baer (Cramerton Christian Academy) and Dr. Jenny Copeland (BJU Press). Administrators’ Seminar: There is a separate seminar designed for administrators. This two-day seminar will be held on July 28–29, 2025. This year’s main speaker will be Scott Barron, founder of School Growth, an organization that helps schools and educators thrive. This year’s theme is “Courageously Progressing the Journey to Excellence.”He brings over 21 years of experience in education as a school head and board member and is a sought-after speaker and author. At School Growth, Scott provides strategic direction, business development, content creation, and executive coaching. In addition, Scott is the featured speaker that the Herzog Foundation uses for most of its educational leadership series. According to the NCCSA Certification Manual, educators certified by the NCCSA must attend the number of NCCSA professional development activities listed below during their individual certification period to meet the requirements based on their certification level. These professional development activities include the annual educators’ convention, summer professional development seminars, and other NCCSA-endorsed/sponsored professional development activities:
- Provisional Early Childhood Certificates – One NCCSA Event
- All other Provisional and Professional Certificates – Two NCCSA Events
- Advanced Professional Certificates – Three NCCSA Events
The deadline to register is June 15 before late fees are added.
