What is TestPoint?

TestPoint™ is a web-based academic testing and assessment system that helps schools evaluate student achievement, determine appropriate academic placement, and administer academic competitions. Developed through a collaborative partnership between NCCSA and High Ground Solutions, TestPoint combines educational expertise with reliable technology to deliver accurate and efficient testing solutions.

Testing Options

Placement Testing

Designed for admissions and enrollment purposes, placement testing helps schools assess student readiness in core academic areas and identify the most appropriate academic placement. TestPoint placement assessments evaluate Language, Reading, and Mathematics skills and provide objective data to support school decision-making. 

Assessment Testing

Assessment tests allow schools to evaluate student progress and identify strengths and areas needing additional support. Schools may administer individual subject assessments or utilize testing across an entire class or grade level. 

Achievement Testing

Achievement tests provide a broader measure of academic performance and growth. Results help schools evaluate instructional effectiveness and monitor student achievement over time.

Academic Testing Competition Program (ATCP)

TestPoint serves as the online platform for numerous academic competitions conducted by Christian school associations. The system simplifies registration, testing administration, score reporting, rankings, and tiebreakers while reducing the administrative burden on participating schools and associations.

Partnership Roles

The NCCSA and High Ground Solutions each serve distinct roles in the TestPoint program:

• High Ground Solutions provides platform development, hosting, scoring systems, reporting tools, technical support, and transaction processing.
• NCCSA oversees academic standards, test content, program direction, and ongoing educational leadership.
