2018 NCCSA Science Professional Development Registration

The email below contains registration information for the NCCSA Science Professional Development Seminar. Administrators, please forward this CEU opportunity to your science teachers. 

The 2018 NCCSA Science Faculty Seminar will be Friday, November 9, at Wake Christian Academy. This one-day event will include sessions, breakout groups, lab activities, and other workshops covering elementary, middle school, and high school science (chemistry, biology, physics, etc.). The cost will be $55 if paid by October 19, and $65 if paid after October 19. This price includes .6 NCCSA Official Category A CEUs, resources used in workshops, notebook/binder, and lab materials. The speakers will be April Blalock (Grade 4 Teacher), Shawn Bertholf (Middle School Science), Karen Tew (Middle School Science), Dennis Hensley (High School Science), Aubrey Hite (High School Science), and Dr. Lucy Brock (High School Science). Wake Christian has graciously hosted this event in the past, and we are grateful that they are allowing the NCCSA to utilize their science teachers to lead this professional development opportunity again this year. 

Register by October 19 to receive the early-bird registration discount. We encourage each school to send its science teachers to this event if at all possible.
