2024 NCCSA All-State Music Clinic Band Audition Info

Because we do not yet have the most accurate contact information for each Fine Arts Coordinator this year, please forward this to your current Fine Arts Coordinator/band director.

The 2024 NCCSA All-State Music Clinic on November 14–16 promises to be an exciting event! Rehearsals will take place at Friendship Christian School, and performances will take place in the auditorium of Green Level High School in Cary, NC. The band clinicians for the event are Barbara Walston, Dr. Steven Ainsworth, and Andrew Bonnema. The choir clinician is Dr. Eliezer Yanson.

Please take note of the clinic information on the NCCSA website. Information is available for both the band clinic and the choir clinic.

As we have done the last few years, all band audition MP3s will be uploaded directly to the NCCSA Box platform, so please pay attention to the details listed in the letter. Also, please note that all MP3s must be uploaded to the NCCSA Box platform and the band rosters must be emailed to Brent Brondyke, NCCSA Auditions Chairman, by Tuesday, September 17. Late uploads and rosters will be accepted until Friday, September 20, but those schools will be charged a flat fee. Read the audition letter at the link below for more details.

Please note that choir participants do not need to audition this year. Check the choir registration guidelines in the Choir Intro Letter at the link below.

This event is not limited to schools with seasoned music programs. Students from schools with organized music programs as well as students who have honed their music talents on their own will collaborate in rehearsals and in a final performance on November 16.

More details regarding registration will be available in October once the audition results are posted.

The audition letter, FAQs, and the choir introduction letter are available at the NCCSA All-State Music Clinic Page: https://www.nccsa.org/programs/fine-arts/all-state-band-clinic/.

The password and other details were made available to member schools in the August 15 email.
