The central/western location will be held at Woodland Baptist Christian School on Monday and Tuesday, July 22-23. The eastern location will be held at Faith Christian Academy in Goldsboro on Wednesday and Thursday, July 24-25. Registration information is available here. 

    **Administrator Seminar—The NCCSA has recently confirmed Dr. Glen Schultz to lead an Administrator Seminar on July 24-25 at Faith Christian Academy in Goldsboro, NC. Registration information is available here. 

    SCIENCE FACULTY WORKSHOP—Looking for some fresh ideas to improve your science program? The NCCSA Science Faculty Workshop resumes again this summer on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25-26, 2013, at Wake Christian Academy. Registration information is available here. 

    2013 NCCSA EDUCATORS’ CONVENTION

    Make a note of the 2013 NCCSA Educators’ Convention at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC, on September 26-27, 2013. This year, the NCCSA will be utilizing a two-day schedule instead of the Wednesday through Friday three-day schedule.

    ***Official CEU credits will be available for these training event and will count toward the “official NCCSA CEU” credit that is required for NCCSA Teacher Certification—2008 Edition v1.5. Any new or renewal applicant since January 1, 2008, must earn at least 25% of all CEU renewal work at either the annual convention or a summer staff development session.

     

    ]]>     http://www.nccsa.org/2013/04/nccsa-staff-development-this-summer/feed/ 0     NCCSA and MaxPreps Form Athletic Partnership http://www.nccsa.org/2012/12/nccsa-and-maxpreps-form-partnership/ http://www.nccsa.org/2012/12/nccsa-and-maxpreps-form-partnership/#comments Fri, 14 Dec 2012 16:21:03 +0000 jasonhaas@nccsa.org http://www.nccsa.org/?p=1565 For years, the NCCSA has contemplated many types of systems, software, and strategies to enable schools to load athletic schedules online, report scores, etc. The NCCSA even considered having a proprietary software system built a few years ago, but deciding against it after considering the many inadequacies this system would have.  Nothing has been requested any more than a way for schools to list results, show standings in regions, etc. Plus, with the increased availability of technology, coaches and ADs have more ways than ever to report information.

    In an effort to streamline the collection of information for NCCSA Athletics, the NCCSA is very excited to announce MaxPreps.com as the North Carolina Christian School Association headquarters for NCCSA athletic score reporting, standings, and other data. The NCCSA has elected to work with MaxPreps.com in order to provide schools a single location to report all Box Score information.

    MaxPreps.com provides schools with a publishing platform to keep their statistics in real time, along with mobile extensions and easy-to-use stat-keeping interfaces for each sport. The NCCSA will use the data collected from the MaxPreps.com platform to help manage regular-season standings, post-season qualifications, and stat leaderboards. Schools will need to update their Box Score information on MaxPreps.com after each contest in order to efficiently manage these initiatives.

You will be able to view the directory in your Internet browser and/or download the file, save it to your computer or school server, and print it.

    In addition to contact information for each NCCSA member school, this directory includes information about products and services available to NCCSA schools. Please avail yourself of this information as needed.
